We Have One Goal
Expanding the frontiers of
poultry agribusiness in Africa
The UN estimates that by 2050, around 2.2 billion people could be added to the global population. More than half of this growth will occur in Africa and Africa will account for the highest population spurt with an additional 1.3 billion. Indeed, the economic repercussions of this population boom will be catastrophic for African countries already struggling to feed its current people. At the same time, our environment is being polluted by mountains of domestic and agricultural waste and a climate emergency has been declared in several countries. Â The fact that these are not mere statistics but an actual reference to human lives and our environment scars us. We have been thinking of innovative ways to help feed the increased number of people to ensure long-term economic growth and prosperity for humankind. Added to this urgency to feed the increasing number of people are high rates of unemployment in many African cities, forcing young people to embark on the perilous Trans-Saharan migration to Europe. These challenges require business solutions that is integrated and have the potential to address all these issues in one but gradual stroke. This is the reason we set up Adinkra Frontiers to help feed the growing number of people whilst solving the environmental issues of waste management and creating thousands of sustainable farm jobs for young people.
